First time starting a topic, kinda nervous...

Is Gibson's injury going to be a big factor? He has not really done anything on the road, but i think he could really do damage if he gets hot a home (see game 4 this year and his 31 against detroit in last years ECF). Right now he's day to day, so i guess its a toss up at this point

I haven't heard anything about the injury, but it looked bad the way he walked off the court holding his shoulder.

What an embarrassing nickname for a grown person.  Booby? LOL

Gibson missing time would be a huge loss for the Cavs.  He had just started to get his stroke down.  Gibson would have hit that wide open 3 that Wally missed at the end of the game.

And it is 'Boobie'not booby   :)

I  think if Gibson can't go that is HUGE!!!  That means Delonte will be facing Rondo's pressure all game.  The only other guy that can bring the ball up is Lebron.  If LBJ is bringing the ball up he is MUCH less effective.

In my opinion if Boobie can't play we should be game planning for Detroit on Sunday.

Gibson's injury is huge for the Cavs mostly because he's been killing Cassell when he's been in there.  Now they'll be forced to play some awkward lineups when West goes out if Gibson can't go.  The fewer perimeter shooters the Cavs have available, the better our defense becomes.

When nervous about your first topic starter it's always good to go with something soft like a "Booby" [thread] ;D .

Thanks to Booby for giving us the bottomless pit of nickname humor.  If Gibson is out, it definitely hurts Cleveland.  he was huge in Game 4, and had a breakout playoff run last year.  He's been banged up for the better part of this season, and hasn't really gotten it going too much.  I'd love to see him not get the chance to heat up.

Yup

We may actually have a Damon Jones sighting if Gibson is unable to go

I know right. I just wanted a title that could glass, like Dirk Diggler or Brock Landers for instance.

But enough of the boogie nights references, the cavs still have Eric Snow, which if he got any pt would be a huge plus for the Cs, seeing that he shot 15% from the field in 22 games.  But expect damon jones to come in and sit in the right corner and chuck, then immediately look back at the Cs bench and talk mess; whether its a swish, brick, or airball.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue... natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No. Not vengeance. Punishment.

Exactly, which means Rajon will have a chance to have another monster outing. Cleveland doesn't have Eric Snow to lean on right now, which is unfortunate for them, as he is their best defender at the point guard position.

Let's hope Damon Jones doesn't have one of those games where he knocks a couple three's down, acts as immaturely as DeShawn Stevenson, and gets the crowd off their butts.

Haven't heard a word about the injury yet. I would more than welcome Damon Jones into this series, to come in and stink it up. He will be completely lost on D and probably wont get the ball much on kickouts, those are reserved for Wally. Nothing describes him better than when the Heat won the finals and he said Shaq was Superman, Wade was Flash, and he was Robin, and Barkley said he's not good enough to be Robin, he's Alfred the butler.

DJones would actually be subbing in for Wally and would guard Ray Allen.

The guy definitely gets the crowd fired up (not that they will need any encouragement tomorrow night) with his '3 on a platter' and other mockery that he does.

He would spread the floor though because you have to respect his shot

At the risk of sounding like Celticthug:

I heard from a friend a second ago that Boobie is out for the series.  I'm waiting on a text back from him for a source.
