  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Haven't heard a word about the injury yet. I would more than welcome Damon Jones into this series, to come in and stink it up. He will be completely lost on D and probably wont get the ball much on kickouts, those are reserved for Wally. Nothing describes him better than when the Heat won the finals and he said Shaq was Superman, Wade was Flash, and he was Robin, and Barkley said he's not good enough to be Robin, he's Alfred the butler.

DJones would actually be subbing in for Wally and would guard Ray Allen.

The guy definitely gets the crowd fired up (not that they will need any encouragement tomorrow night) with his '3 on a platter' and other mockery that he does.

He would spread the floor though because you have to respect his shot

But if Gibson is out, and you think Damon would be Wally's backup, who would back up Delonte at point? Eric Snow?

Obviously DWest wold have to play all 48 minutes.   :)

It would be DJones most likely with possibly Sasha out at the 2.  DJones would be playing 10 feet off of Rondo

That's a shame, you never want to benefit from an injury.  Here's hoping there's no lingering problems.

That said, this is a big plus for us as it weakens their guard depth and means we'll probably see either a lot more Damon Jones (good) or Wally getting run until his ankles fuse (also good).

with fairweather, hate to see any player get injured, espcaily on a freak accident like what happnend there.

but you can't deny its nice that lebron has one less option to kick out at the three point line...

He was killing Sam every time they matched up.  Especially in game 4.  Ouch.  I'm never happy to see someone injured, but at the same time if there is a silver lining to an injury it's when it favors us.
