Look I know Doc is kind of like Francona in that he doesn't like to change things because he doesn't want to take guys off their rythem but I think there is one way to get the C's going on the road.

Start the following lineup... Garnett, Posey, Perkins, Pierce, and Rondo.  Let Ray come off the bench.  Right now Ray is a defensive liability and starting Posey allows him to defend Lebron while leaving Pierce with Wally who can't guard him.  This would allow Pierce to get going offensively early in the game and get into a groove.  It would also allow Pierce to expend less energy on the defensive end thus keeping him fresher on offense late in the game.

Oh and one more.  Get Eddie some backup minutes at PG over Sam.  Eddie is not going to be afraid to take shots when they are given to him like Rondo is but he will also get his shots within the flow of the offense instead of disrupting the entire offense by being a black hole on offense the way Sam is.
Where "HOLY S**T WE JUST GOT GARNETT!!!" Happens.

Point taken, but Doc's not going to bench Ray at this point.

Posey was somewhat invisible in Cleveland as well (which really surprised me)
Yup

This was addressed in another post by someone else, but I will say it here.  Boston can guard Lebron with whoever they want but Lebron is going to guard PP....you will never see Wally on PP

I have a suggestion, player stop making excuse and start making plays.

Paul Pierce - when did LeBron James wake up an all of a sudden became an all defensive first team player?  You need to take LeBron to the basket, where is your up fakes?  Your not even setting your teammate up for easy baskets. You playing like the Paul Pierce that wanted to be out of here two years ago

KG - you have "sideshow bob" playing you man to man and yet your don't taking him to the basket.  KG man up and stop taking jump shots, you should be holding it down in the paint.

Ray Allen - Everyone is saying your making Wally look like an All-Star and yet I see the team playing what amounts to a zone/box in one on LeBron. However you should be using Wally on the offensive side of the ball.  Be vocal demand the ball and when you get it take it to the basket.

I only address those 3 because they are supposed to be the team leaders and best players. Once they start to do their job the rest will follow.

Starting Posey is the wrong move.  He is the fresh defender to throw at James after Pierce wears down a bit.

But playing Posey more minutes off the bench is a good idea.
