TNT is out of control with there advertisement within the game. Tyler Perry is killing me. Not to mention the awful camera angles they continue to use. Why can't they just keep it simple and use the typical 4 camera angles? I don't want to watch the game from the blimp view. And can I get a review of the last play? They seem to have plenty of views of Lebron tieing his shoes or talking to his team mate while they should have the game on or at least a review of the last play. I could go on about the Doug Collins too.

I miss Tommy. He might be the number one homer but at least he knows what he is talking about.

Anyone else notice that Doug Collins doesn't know when to take a break analyzing the last play when something new has happened on the floor.  Last night there was that strange goaltending call in the first half.  Harlen (that's his name, yes?) was only able to interject "Nice defense".  There was a goaltend called with no explanation or comment by either (and no replay later) while Collins went on explaining something else.  They never touched on that play.  It's like it never happened.  I can't put my finger on other examples of this, but they are numerous with this crew.

"Lebron James with no regard for human life!" was a little bit over the top.

That's a Harlan standard.  Along with "He just sucked the gravity right out of the building."

That wasn't that huge a dunk ... sorry TNT! Pumped it up like the stupid Howard/Superman crap, but the only reason he got to the rim at all, was because KG didn't try and stop him, otherwise the ball would have been somewhere in Toledo!

The TNT crew is terrible.  Somebody needs to inform them that there are 10 players on the court, not just LeBron.  I'm not sure that has sunk in yet...

KG did try and stop him, by throwing both forearms into his chest.  Look at the picture at #5 if you don't believe me.   http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dime-080513

At home, at that point in the game, that's a huge dunk.  You have to fault Posey for bitinig on Lebron's inside fake and letting Lebron go outside of the key to the hoop.  If Posey forces Lebron into the middle of the lane KG is in better position to defend

I didn't think that dunk was anything to make a big deal about,(1:48)left,and the game was really over,no one was defending him any longer. If anything,it was Lebron releasing his frustrations for his own lousy play or shooting last night.I noticed he went directly to his bench, wanting some praise for the dunk, sort of to give himself some reassurance from his own shortcomings.

It was a half-hearted attempt, at best ... KG could have stuffed him if he'd timed it well, or tried a little harder. The game was pretty much over at that point.

I dont care for Barkely at all,but Kenny and Magic try to be objective about things. They can't give credit, when its nowhere to give it.

Good point, JJ ... TP. We have frustrated LB more than anyone has in a long time, and he was letting off steam.

When Doug Collins is anouncing, all i can think of is that old Fed ex commercial, where the guy can talk continuious for about 3-5minutes without taking a breathe.Remember that one? ;D

I wasn't referring to them.  They're fine.  I was referring to the announcers.  If his teammates knock down a shot, it's not a good shot, but an excellent pass by LeBron.  A miss by a Celtic isn't a miss, but an excellent defensive play by LeBron.  On several occasions Bron's contribution wasn't particularly impressive - I think they just get themselves off saying his name.

So, what you 2 are saying is that you had given up on the Celtics winning with 1:48 left and only being down 7.  No one was really guarding him anymore?  I am sure PP would love to hear that quote.  Posey also.  Lebron made a good play.....give him some credit and move on.

The celebration was definitely his way of letting of steam.  Believe me, and you can tell this from one of Doc's quotes, letting Lebron get to the rim and throw that dunk down was the last thing the Celtics wanted to do.
