as mind-bogglingly frustrating as games 3 and 4 have been, as horrible as we have played, as bad as the refs have been, and as out-of-their-minds good as the hawks have played, we still had control of both games late, and didn't exactly get blown out. we've struggled against teams with multiple good athletic wings, which is atlanta's strength. i bet in game 5 we see tony allen play a lot more (20+ minutes, i hope) in order to slow down joe johnson. do we lose some offense? sure. but as long as ray plays 25-30 minutes, we'll be fine. plus, i'm going to assume the home-court ref advantage atlanta had will disappear in boston i.e. they'll get called for their hacks when we go inside, and our guys won't get called for touch fouls. that'll make a huge difference, too. josh smith is a great shot blocker, but i don't know if any of his blocks in game 4 were clean...waaaay too much contact that the refs let slide. and honestly, the reason this series is so chippy is that the refs have let the hawks get away with a lot of crap. we'll come out sharp in game 5.
