I am just as angry and upset after these past 2 games as the rest of you, but we can't keep sulking and talking about every mistake that went wrong.  Tommorow night is a brand new ballgame, more importantly in a brand new venue. I expect everyone attending the game to show the Hawks why we are the #1 seed, and why we have the best fans in the NBA.  I know I'm going to be going crazy tomorrow because this series is far from over, and our boys need our support.  LETS GO CELTICS.

I think that'll put a stop to that.  Good work citizen.

Obviously, we should give our support but I don't have a problem being p---ed about stupid mistakes turning a 4 or 5 game series into a 6 or 7 game series. The Celtics have looked flat out bad and I'd rather wonder about it now and hope for a fix than pretend it doesn't matter that we blew two straight playoff games to a 38 win team and wonder this summer about how we could possibly get bounced by Cleveland with Pierce and his bad back and/or Ray Allen trying to man up Lebron while Posey played 15 minutes a night covering Wally Szczerbiak or Joe Smith and House came in to run the point for 8 minutes a night.
Go Celtics.

can't you read the title, if the OP wanted more he would have titled it MORE! not enough... in that case your rant would be pleasantly accepted, perhaps revered, but here it flies in the face of everything the poster believes in...

I have to say, I am in agreement here.  Certainly everyone is free to continue to dwell on those losses as much as they want, and analyze them until they get a migraine.  Personally though, I'm done with it.  The games are over.  It's simple, the C's are at a crossroads for this postseason.  Either they strap some on and put the Hawks out of their misery, or they don't...in which case I use the money I have set aside for playoff tickets to by a Wii, in order to get out some of this pent up frustration.

Either way, I am trying to avoid all of this negativity for now, and I am hoping the Garden is electric tomorrow, because the C's need a boost.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Everyone is just disappointed, no one really thinks the C's are going to lose the series, 2 games lost, in a row against Atlanta is tough to swallow. After the Celtics crush the Hawks tomorrow night, everyone's mood will change.

Fair enough, he started a post to be positive and I had no reason to crash it. Sorry, OP.

Just be careful - do not, I repeat, do not throw your controller. I saw this commercial once where these guys were playing baseball on a Wii like console, and the one guy says to the other guy, throw it like you'd throw a baseball, and he does and BOOOM - shattered flatscreen TV - oh it was hilarious, then the TV FALLS... can you believe it?  I couldn't, until the 100th time I saw the commercial, then I began believing it...

ALso there's some youtube clips where kids go nuts with Wii nunchucks (that's not the right spelling I don't think, but nunchucks, hilarity, like nuns chucking things) anyways, one kid hit his hand on a ceiling fan and I think there was blood, so that stinks, and another did throw his wii remote thingy right into the TV, just like the commercial, life immitating art is what I say...

anyways, if you need a little escape, there's an excellent post about bunnies up, strictly rabbit fodder and nothing else, get a little zen in you know?

Actually, in the full scheme of the season, we became used to a smooth ride with very few bumps, rather than the rollercoaster ride we are now sure to experience as both fans and these players at this hightened intensity, that is the playoffs.
Sure, these Celtic played only perhaps an average game (for them, below average, o.K.  ;)), in these last two, and these hawks played way above theirs. As well as the calls interupting the flow, as well as illadvised substitutions by our coach, too...

And that's why there is a lenthly series, where the better team nearly always rises to the challenge.

Yep, I'm more rational now than initially, with this series being tied up...

But no denying, this team needs this test, or else simply they don't deserve to go on...

Man, are you in for a treat going to be present for this next game :)

-Go Celts-

TP for admitting you were wrong and giving a pleasantly worded apology... you could write for Hallmark if they had a series of cards about blogging etiquitte (actually they probably do, I think they have a series of cards about everything)

I've just watched Celtics game @ Lakers, the one with 33 p from Pierce (from this season of course)

what a game by Celts ... we controlled the game all the way, we were so confident (Lakers with Bynum, we without Rondo)

And today, they have swept Nuggets, and we are worried about getting past Hawks...

What is interesting about that game:
Tony Allen played 42 min. -> Bryant - 22 points FGM-A 6-25
Ray Allen 28 min.
