That's the nicest thing that's been said to me in a long time, Bud ... anyone would be proud to be your older brother ... especially me. I have an older brother and sister, so having a younger brother was always something I dreamed about growing up ... unfortunately I was my parents' last "accident", so that's one that never came true.
My son is in the Army and stationed in California, so I haven't seen him for almost three years now, but our favorite thing in the world was fishing ... we literally spent many days from sun-to-sun driving to different spots all over my state, trying new ponds and rivers and streams and lakes and ocean inlets, as well as returning to our favorite spots.
My son has ADHD, and watching him fish was such a transformation into focus and clarity, and it brought even more peace and satisfaction than just being surrounded by nature itself. We discovered some of the most beautiful spots in the world, and they were all within an hour of home.
I wish similar sojourns and times of peace and special closeness for you and Elias, and I knew you'd get that from the pic. They are what make life worth living ... and they are irreplaceable. Many blessings on you both, Bro.
