Just noticed where I stood TP wise and the "100 TP's" came up on my Updated Topics list. Thank you everyone for not only the kind words but also for all of the TP's you may have given me.

Also, a big congratulations goes out to Bahku for his 500th TP. Simply unbelievable meteoric rise up the TP list. I think Arlen Spector better convene a committee to look into this. Bahku's TP's must be on steroids or is using some sort of videotaping to enhance his TP winning ways. ;) :D ;D

The truth is, Bahku is just to darn nice and too darn articulate and perceptive to not TP him up every time you read his posts. Great job, man!!

And look at that highest TP list!!

Stealing use of a quote from my favorite character from any movie all-time, Stephen the Irishman from Braveheart:

"The Almighty says this must be a fashionable" list. "It's drawn the finest people!!"

Hmmm...Apparently congrats are in order for you too Nick!  300 TPs for  nickagneta...

Plenty of TP love to go around during the return of the Celtics salad days. ;D
Yup

Great pic Redz...another I Can Has Cheezburger fan.

that is the #2 site I go to sadly....(you can guess what's #1) my gf really thinks I'm crazy...

my #3 site, is worth a look

http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/

Its called garfield minus garfield, and essentially looks at the adventures of Jon Arbuckle with the removal of any signs of Garfield in the strip - it has become 100x more funny, and at times a sad commentary on life - enjoy!

Congrats to Steve Weinman, author extraordinaire, on his 100th Tommy Point!
I'm glad I could top you off, Steve.  Your work is much appreciated, and it's really a shame that there isn't a TP option next to articles on the front page, because if there was, I've got a feeling that you'd be lapping the field.

(Well, other than Jeff, but that's pretty good company.)

Much thanks for the flattering words, RH -- you really are too kind.  It's been a pleasure to be here since day one, and I only enjoy interacting with the folks here more and more every day.  As you're well aware (or should be by now), Roy, the feelings are quite mutual -- I've run into "one-hour karma rule violations" on far too many occasions trying to build your TP lead, courtesy of your well-written posts...thanks again....

Great to have SW aboard and up regularly on the front page. An insightful columnist on his way up and a class act.

And a belated congratulations to Roy, who raises the level of discussion here on a daily basis,  who warmly welcomed me back when, and, matter of fact gave me my first Tommy Point.

Yep, as RH said, much thanks for your words Wiggle.  As you know, I always enjoy seeing your name in the comments section of the Babble and chatting with you throughout the site.  Thanks for sticking with me, Kobe love-letter notwithstanding!

Amager, much thanks for the very green graphic :-D

To SW on your 100th TP:

"100 Pens"

Had to find something special for my Mentor, (and my writing "Hero")  ;): This is a weeping willow in Victoria Park, London, England. A hundred pens were attached to different branches of the tree, and a large canvas/paper was placed at the bottom, where the pens could actually "sketch the wind" ... sort of a type of literary "Performance Art", with nature as the artist. I bought a print of it a while ago, though I've yet to frame it and put it on the wall. Anyway, I could think of nothing more appropriate for such a great writer upon the realization of his 100th TP, (now 102 with mine!).

This is the tree:

This is a close-up of the tree, the pens, and the created image:

I know it's a bit odd/different, SW ... but then, so am I. Thanks so much, Buddy, for being such a friendly late-night oasis of sanity. I start each day, (and sometimes end it), with the Babble, and it's become something I truly look forward to, as are your posts. All the best to a truly amazing and articulate human being ... on to 17!

Wow, Bahku, as always, you leave me in awe.  I'm very impressed with the "100 Pens" motif and graphics and honored that you would take the time to put it together for me.

Our wee-hours exchanges of joy, frustration and general fellow-feeling about this Celtics team have been thoroughly enjoyable for me, and I'm quite glad to see that you've enjoyed them as well.  I look forward to more of the same as we charge toward (and hopefully past) green 17.

I'm flattered and humbled beyond belief that you continue to refer to me as a mentor for you -- a true honor in any sense, although I can assure you that I'm learning just as much (if not more) from you as you are from me.  Always a pleasure to chat.  Thanks again, my friend.
