Wow ... forgive me, guys ... I was not around when all this happened. Thank you all
so much, you guys have made this amazing Celtics season so much more rewarding and pleasurable for me, and the TP's are just the icing on the cake, and the true indicator of what amazing, considerate, and giving people you all are.
I'm not a big blogger, or at least wasn't before I came here, but I think I can safely say that there are very few other blogs that are as welcoming and respectful of others. I know I've probably been a bit "difficult" at times, and I greatly appreciate how patient and forgiving you've all been with me ... I hope I can return it.
I really had no idea what to expect when I came here, and was a bit reluctant to contribute at first. Just the excitement of being a Celtic fan this year was great motivation to do so, but like I say, I'd never done this "blogging" stuff before, and was a bit "web-shy". Gotta say, I couldn't imagine then how much fun and growth I'd be experiencing because of this place and it's people.
Anyway ... I really feel connected here, and not only have I contributed in my meager way, but I have been rewarded and blessed with new friends who share my love for all things Green. I'm really just a nobody, and don't claim to be any kind of expert on basketball, but you have all accepted my input and respected my opinions, regardless of my many imperfections.
I hope, with the recent influx of Lakers fans, that they can go back to their respective blogs after this is all over, with at least a taste of what a truly fair, respectful, and rewarding place this is, and what a wealth of intelligent, articulate, and discerning people it is. I hope they realize what I do, that this is truly one of the best sports blogs in the world ... bar none!
Thanks again for your kind words, guys ... and just being who you are. I love all of ya ... and this incredible season is our true reward. I hope we're all sharing our joy for banner #17 soon! TP's for you all!
Thanks, guys ... Go Celtics!!
P.S. - Roy: Did you know that Tommy was a favorite of mine? That's a cool little clip ... thank you kindly, (and thanks for putting up with my crap - I'm the king of misinterpretation!)
Redz: Believe it or not, I almost went into astrophysics, and still long for it to this day. Many are the hours I spend with my telescope, "counting" stars and gazing at such vistas as you posted here. I don't think you knew that, but your pic was tres appropriate! Thanks, Bud!
