As with all things, I think it's difficult to change the rules in the middle of the season.
In terms of myself, I played my available players for pretty much the whole year, or at least for the most part; I just have a ton of injured guys on my roster, which was part of the strategy.  It was always about next year, when my predecessor traded half his draft for Elton Brand.
I don't blame blake or anybody else with a similar strategy.  The "tankers" have taken advantage of the rules in place, much like real NBA teams do.  Next year, I think it might make sense to have a lottery open to, say, the entire bottom half of the league, to prevent tanking.  This year, I'm in favor of a bottom-3 lottery (of course

).  However, to punish tankers at this point seems a bit late in the game.
In terms of next year, are we keeping the same scoring system?  We probably have to, based on the way rosters were created, right?  I suppose it's hard to go from a points league to a head-to-head league, although I certainly prefer the latter.
