I have a trade to announce:

AllabouttheGreen has traded Larry Hughes, a 15th rounder (#8), and a 16th rounder (#13) to Jayhovaone for Amir Johnson.

Jayhovaone may make the 15th round selection at any time.

There are some weird picks goin on there...this is a fantasy league, you're picking to have better stats than the other guy..I seems like a lot of you guys are picking for teams in franchise mode of NBA 2k8

I think some people are drafting purely for the future at this point, in terms of a keeper league.  It's probably a flawed strategy, as you're drafting for three years down the road, when a lot of us will have no interest in this keeper league.  However, it's my strategy, as well (since I wasn't given much of a choice in the matter).

Agreed, this was a very strange landscape with all of the sleepers and better young players taken very early or in the mid rounds, when plenty of productive players were just basically being ignored.  It was a tough challenge, as I think everybody is trying to balance youthful "upside" with the demands of having a competitive roster right here, right now.  We'll see what happens, but for the GM's who really went out on the youth curve, I sure hope everybody remains engaged a couple of years down the road.

All I know is that I got Marbury, Scola, and Cuttino Mobley, all starters in the 6-7th round...its nuts....

Yeah, it's a bit weird.  Look where Marbury and Scola went in our other league (of ten teams), and you'll see how much the value is skewed.  I'll tell you, Scola wouldn't have gotten by me.

From the first pick you made in this draft Roy you've been taking guys off the top spot on my board, almost every time.
