Tatum's offense and playmaking is just otherworldly this year. It's clear that he had more to give and not having that high usage/iso second option gives him more room to shine.

Do you think playing with George (and not you know who) has helped Tatum's playmaking ?

That's what I was not so subtly trying to state there with that post haha But definitely.

He?s probably playing more relaxed knowing he?s the real #1 now. With JB around it was more ?your turn, my turn?. I mean i don?t think JB would ever take the back seat just like what PG is doing now. Can?t blame JB though because he?s an excellent player in his own right.

I understand people's posts about Tatum with George vs. Jaylen. However, this team is less talented as a whole and that'll hurt them against elite teams still. Tatum himself has absolute been MVP-lite and made improvements but gonna need a few more guys on the team to step up consistently

And this was why Tatum and Brown couldn't coexist. Both are the same players.

George and Tatum works as the former complements the latter.

Tatum is a far better playmaker than Brown

I'd like to see an explanation of how Tatum's improved penetration and shot selection is related to JB's absence, as I think there has to be some sort of a connection there.

Good to see Hugo getting his shooting touch back. And what about Mike Conley? He could really be useful down the stretch as a calming presence.

Easy win against a bad team but too many turnovers...18.

Looks like DW and PP got their groove back each shot 4/6 from 3...and JT shot 5/8.

The game threads have been really short to start the season.

I just flipped on the 76ers/Cavs game and JB immediately went ISO for a 3 and missed. The timing was so perfect.
