Sounds like Ballmer couldn't swallow his ego and now is paying the price.

I think they deserved the punishment, if this went on unpunished the league would have went crazy with shenanigans of this nature.

Ballmer is rich enough that he can spend on the team he wants and why wouldn't he, as he is filthy rich.  Would he even worry about losing the picks from the luxury as they are already gone?

It does annoy me a little bit that Kawhi gets off pretty much free here. Like there i no way you're making 18 million "off the record" and somehow don't know what happening. Yet the guy who probably too to benefit most from this scheme will receive a lap on he wrist imply because he's hardest to punish.

It's a disservice to athletes everywhere when a grown man like Kawhi is allowed to plead ignorance, as if he's a clueless teenager. The next moment, he'll want to be looked at as a business mogul and role model. Can't have it both ways.
