I am concerned about the lack of scoring off the bench. If Hauser does not make 3s he is useless. Hugo plays hard but still can't hit the outside shot consistently. Walsh will defend but can't shoot. Baylor really needs to tke another step.

I'd love to add a vet shooter off the bench or trade Sam for someone that can impact winning.

do you envision Adam Silver changes the playoffs to a series of one-on-one games, though? because let's put Maxey in White's role... is he better then? because if he plays typical Maxey role, one of JB, Embiid or Lebron have to play more of a PG, Robinson or Tatum role. are any of them better at those roles? i'm not so sure.

LeBron James is a point forward. He can easily average 8apg. He had a season in LA where he averaged 10apg. Your role comparison does not make sense. They are two completely different teams. LeBron will run the offense.

I guess in the sense that there are a lot of mouths to feed. The main difference is this Philly team is much more talented.

I don't know about this.  First, I don't believe in assists as a stat to predict success.  Good shots come from good team ball movement and player/off-ball movement, not from one guy dribbling around looking to make a pass.  Second, this approach is going to increase LeBron's usage, do you really want your oldest player to have high usage?  More LeBron means less of the other players.  I see this taking away from the other players, not making them better.

I suspect that Luka wanted LeBron out of LA, or at least was OK with it, for much the same thing.  Trying to run everything through LeBron is not necessarily the best thing, especially if you have Luka but even for this PHI team, in my view.

That is my point, that is how he should play.  You don't want LeBron playing like Harden (for example).  But the report was implying to me that the intent was to have LeBron be the one to get the ball to Maxey, Brown, Embiid.  If he just keeps the ball moving, that is great, and more what I think this team would need.  To me, that is not what I picture when they say he will be playing a good amount of point guard.  Maybe it is and that is just the version of PG that LeBron will play, but that is not how I read it.  These guys don't need LeBron to get them the ball or to be overly dependent on LeBron to get the ball.  They just need to all play as a team.  LeBron is going to be their PF, not their PG.  The best thing he can do is be a PF who passes the ball very well, keeps it moving.  No need to try and be a PG, in my opinion.  I think that would hurt the team and wear down LeBron, so if they want to try that, fine with me.

I have enjoyed watching him these last few years but ... the media gotta stop pretending the NBA revolves around a 40+yr old LeBron James. It doesn't. He isn't at that level anymore. Stop giving him so much attention. Pay attention to the guys who deserve it.
