LBJ makes the Celtics as good as any team in the league.  If he came here he would be able to have an Alpha role versus fighting for shots on any of those other teams. Plus winning a chip with the Celtics would mean more then any of those other teams.  He's won with Cleveland and Miami already so maybe he wants to win with a different team.

He'd want to be the #1 man on the team. Watch him start playing LeGM and get Joe fired, Brad fired, and trade everyone else on the Celtics

get joe fired??  OMg YES! bring him in!  ;D ;D

Yes I updated my sig on the JTJB line. I'm looking forward to updating the FireJoe line next  8)

And soon, going to add a FireBrad line if he doesn't please us in the next 7-12 months. Also depends on how the C's play to start the season, could just start it early if they're sub .500

Like last season when they started 0-3...

One thing I can bet on is that we will open against Philly again, like last year.  The NBA will absolutely want that matchup as one of their season-opener national TV games.  Would not surprise me if we get the Knicks in our second game again, too.

I think it's gonna be the reverse. NBA loves drama. Boston @ New York on opening night so we can watch the Knicks raise their banner this time around.

Followed by Philly @ Boston on home opener. The return of Jaylen Brown, on the other side. JT vs JB. 2026 playoff rematch.

The Western Conference gotta eat too on Game #1, I bet it's gonna be the Lakers at home against someone like OKC

I think it will be Knicks vs. Cleveland or Miami on opening night.  Whichever of the two LeBron goes to.  I think we will be a national TV game the next night vs. Philly for our opener, but we will not be opening the season.

LeBron James will be making his free agent decision between the following six NBA teams, per @ShamsCharania - Cavaliers - Heat - Nuggets - Sixers - Timberwolves - Warriors

If accurate, the Celtics are no longer in the mix.
I just don?t see Miami, Golden State or Minnesota as championship teams with him. Denver or Cleveland be his best bet

I love that Minnesota team with LeBron.

Ant & LaMelo with Bron as your 3rd best player. Gobert as your 4th best player!! McDaniels as your 5th best player! You still have Ayo Dosunmu off the bench. Along with quality young talent throughout the rest of your bench (Bones Hyland, Jaylen Clark, Terrence Shannon, Beringer).

That would be loaded.

If I were LeBron, it would be between Minnesota & Denver. They would be my top 2 choices. I'd prefer Minnesota but I would be nervous about LaMelo's injury history. I may chose Denver over Minny as a result.

"I dont think this happens anytime soon," [Rich] Paul told me.

Should teams be prepared for James to make a decision in weeks instead of days?

"I don't think it'll be the next few days," Paul said.

Sounds like he is going to drag it out.

I don't see why LeBron needs longer than a week to make his decision. I think he just wants the media attention.
