More of a PF than a center but also an option:
John Collins 6'9, 28 years old (shot 37.1, 39.9, 40.6% from three last three years)

No interest in John Collins as a backup PF or a makeshift center. I don't think he adds anything to our team as a backup PF. He doesn't pass the ball. He doesn't dribble the ball. He is a reluctant low volume outside shooter.

I'd rather just keep playing small with guys like Hugo & J Walsh at forward than bringing in John Collins. I think J Collins is a fairly average player + I don't think he fits our system well. So I'd rather just play and keep developing the youth.

Hauser + picks for someone like Isaiah Stewart or Gafford?

If you keep White and Jaylen and the others, I?d argue you can then just use the MLE on another big man like Timelord. Otherwise a guard or wing like Sexton, Coby White, etc.

I'd rather just give some guy the minimum and spend the MLE on a perimeter player. I don't think any of those guys are worth it.

Yeah, there are a number of good guards that should be available in the MLE range, but very few Centers that you want playing major minutes. I'd take another chance on KP, but I don't know that he'll be available. It also seems a little desperate.

I do hope we are able to figure out a Hauser for Stewart swap. That just makes too much sense from our side. Toughness, some shooting, defense, and he is signed for a couple of years at a decent contract. I'd throw in #27 to get it done. I'd ask New Orleans about Yves Missi, too. Who knows, maybe that could spark up a Trey Murphy trade?
