Interesting pick by Brad.

Cenac is 6?11/240lbs. Good athlete. Jabari Smith Jr type?

Body is kinda Tatumish.
Yup

So we are going to have 2 roster spots with raw young bigs in Amari and Chris Cenac.

Can we really afford to use another roster spot on a third 3rd string center in Luka Garza? Or is this the end of Garza?

good pick, thank you Brad, I was afraid he would trade back. More of a need and a talented Freshman.

Didn't think he'd still be on the board when they oicked.  Now I wonder what's wrong with him

Yeah, he was being projected late lotto / mid first round.

Strange drop. Wonder why.

Cenac should be ticketed for Maine as roster spot 14.  High ceiling, not ready for the NBA.  Garza can stay for a season.

Waaaaaay longer wingspan. 7'5 vs 7'0 for Tatum.

6th overall player in the 2025 high school class. This follows the strategy Brad seems to like of valuing high school rankings, even if they drop in ranking during their freshman year.

I hope he?s not going to turn out like the big from Gonzaga we got a few years ago.

Like the Cenac pick as an upside play. 6'10 with 7'5 wingspan, shows flashes as shooter.

Very inconsistent play.  True boom-bust type of pick.  Fine choice at 27, but there were plenty of guys with similar ceiling and much higher floors in the lotto.

Walsh, Hugo, JD(?) and now Cenac all fit this mold.

Anton Watson?  They don't strike me as similar players.

Cenac Jr is a PF, though.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Forgot about him.  Was he really only drafted two year ago?

But agree, they do not remind me of each other at all.  Watson was a low ceiling guy who could hopefully contribute quickly as he was 24.  Cenac is high ceiling and high variance.
