Spain deserved this.  They were the best team all tournament.

Argentina is full of sore losers. Glad to see that prick Enzo Fernandez sent off with a red (2 yellows). And then they tried to fight the Spanish players and others on the field after the final whistle blew  ::)

I'm still gonna say that Egypt was robbed too, the goal they got disallowed in that game and then Argentina being able to have a goal stand while there was a foul earlier in the play but no VAR review is a joke. So rigged. They nearly tried again today by robbing Spain of an earlier goal by disallowing it but thankfully they prevailed at the end.

VARgentina couldn't get it done lol

Guess the old adage still rings true in any sport...defense wins championships.

Spain has/had the best defense in the tournament.

Hated them for knocking Dutch out in 2010 and wanted them out in this WC too, but against Argentina, I had no choice but to back them. Can't stand those dirty thugs in blue/white.

Final act of classlessness from a classless team - the Spanish, despite the sore loser Argies trying to fight them after the final whistle, still gave the Albiceleste a guard of honor as they went to collect their runners-up medals, while Argentina returned the gesture by turning their backs on Spain and the ceremony when it was time for Spain to collect their medals, rings and the trophy. Sorest losers ever  :police:

Wow.  I had assumed that the fighting in squabbling was coming from individuals with bad attitudes, rather than being a team wide thing. But for the entire team to demonstrate like that? That's ridiculously poor form.

Great D, but to go into prevent mode after the goal was a dumb tactic by the coach.  They had an 11-10 advantage, they should have pressed more.  Argentina came so close to tying when they dropped back.
