The Dutch are looking good.

Morocco were on top. Then the water break. Holland hit them quickly afterwards with a long direct pass for a quick run on and goal. Like a guy punch. Morocco have struggled to get back into the game since.

Extra time 1-1.

Well it's extra time now, this could go to penalties too...imagine how heartbreaking it would be for the Oranje to go out on penalties again

It's a shame one of these teams is going home early because of how the bracket unfolded. This is a great match, nice battles, good back and forth. A chess match in some sense.

And the Oranje are OUT to penalties...Dutch only hit 2 of 5, Morocco 3 of 5 but that was enough

I'm reading Bild to see the reaction to Germany going out of the WC, as hard as we are on the Celtics these Germans are at another level...they don't hold back  ;D

Can't really say this is an upset, Morocco are ranked No6 and Nederland 7. The next match Morocco will have is against Canada, which is going to probably be a step down in class (no disrespect to our northern neighbors, not hatin' just statin'  )

It's basically a bye week for Morocco

Penalty kicks are just so nerve-wracking and intense. I feel extremely nervous just watching, I can't imagine how the players and goalies feel

I wish they?d switch to sudden-death overtime, and however many OTs are needed. I dislike the PKs.

I am sorry about Netherlands losing. I thought Morocco was playing really well with control and a really strong technical game. It would have been a shame if they were out so early in the tournament. In reality, this game was more like a semi-finals or quarter-finals game instead of the first round of knockout games.

There's a lot of reports now that yesterday, a lot of the Germany players (I think 4 of them) were scared to take a penalty kick when asked, so they sent in someone (Jonathan Tah) who had never taken them before and he missed it.

So even the players feel the tension
