?Former NBA Draft first round pick (3rd overall in 2011) Enes Kanter Freedom, who has been an adamant opponent of LeBron James, the Chinese Communist Party, Nike, along with more political activism, which he believes blackballed him from the NBA, has officially declared himself a prospect for the 2027 WNBA Draft. ...

"If simply declaring who you are is all that's required, then I meet every requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA," Freedom stated in a social media post seated behind a studio desk wearing an orange WNBA sweatshirt with the Nike logo crossed out.

Nope, not from the Onion.

What a loser.

He is just trying to make a point, he doesn't really want to play in the WNBA.  Just stirring the pot.  No judgement from me as to whether it is a good point or not, but in my view, that is all he is trying to do here.

He's still a loser.

I love that Enes Kanter is doing this. I'll leave it at that so that we don't bring politics to this side of the forum.

Agree on the loser part.  There is no need for him to inject himself into this discussion, much less in this manner.  Just more loser attention grabbing.

I also like that he's standing up for this.

There is conjecture in this on my part, but I think he is trying to demonstrate that it is wrong to let a man play in women's' sports, just because the man says he is a woman.  He is pretending to believe he is a woman and then saying, I want to play in the WNBA, to make the point that men should not play in women's sports.  And that any man can simply say he thinks he is a woman.

Like I said, just stirring the pot.
