The Lakers Had A Meeting Last Summer With Luka Doncic That Mapped Out The 2026 Offseason, LeBron James WASN?T In Those Plans. Per, @ramonashelburne, At that meeting they laid out their plans. In those plans, they did NOT include LeBron James.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I do wonder if Luka truly cares whether or not Lebron comes back.

3/44 feels cheap.

As we all know with him, its really gonna come down to health & games played with him.  It could be a great deal or dead weight.

Ugh that hurts a bit as while not ideal, it really felt like Timelord was maybe our best option to try and target.  Just tough seeing what other bigs are going to end up being available now.  Unless this ends up meaning Clingan is on the block in a JB trade, but I think that is wishful thinking.

Great. More bad news coming from Portland. Really seems we're totally stuck. It's very frustrating. A lost season upcoming.

The center position is going to be a real problem next season for Boston.

Dumbasses

The guy has played only half of his games throughout his 8 year NBA career. They just flushed money down the drain.

Mitchell Robinson was and remains my number 1 center target, so while I?m disappointed Rob is off the board, as he was in my top 5, it is not the end of the world.  Kessler in a S&T with Hauser using the Simons TPE is also still feasible in terms of tax avoidance.  There have been a few more options returning to their team than I expected, however, given some cap and tax situations.  (I do not know what Golden State is thinking giving KP $20 million, for instance, but I definitely think throwing Quinten Post an offer in free agency might make some sense now.  It feels like they would have a tough time matching).

I agree, but I love it.  This will get JB out of the news cycle and permit the Celtics to trade in peace.

Yeah, at least we know the ESPN echo chamber will switch gears to all things Lebron until he signs somewhere.
