Charlotte was finally starting to look like they figured it out during the 2nd half of last year. LaMelo was a big part of that. Not sure why they would move him. They don?t have a backup at the PG position either.

Hm I actually wouldn't mind trading Jaylen Brown for LaMelo Ball.

Only if Charlotte includes LaMelo in a package. Ball played pretty well the past few seasons especially last season. Seems to have that kill mentality and great handles unlike tunnel-vision JB.

Toronto get Ball & Green

Charlotte get Barrett & Quickly

I think this trade would work out for both teams
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I'd be into this.  It would solve our shot creation issues.  Lamelo breaks down defenses like few others.  Plus he's clutch and fun to watch.

Nevermind that. Brad trying to find the perfect deal for Brown while there is zero trade interest in him.

Veteran big man Al Horford is opting out of his $5.9 million player option with the Golden State Warriors. Horford will then re-sign with the Warriors on a new two-year, $14 million deal.

The Warriors will use Horford's Non-Bird rights to give him a bump in pay for the upcoming season. The upcoming season will be the veteran big man's 20th NBA season.

In his first year with Golden State, Horford averaged 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 blocks in 21.5 minutes per game.

2 more years for Al.

F: Jimmy Butler, Gui Santos
F: Draymond Green, Yaxel Lendeborg
C: (Porzingis), Al Horford, Quintin Post

That would be a strong frontcourt if they keep Porzingis as expected.

"Austin Reaves, from what I understand, two days ago was somewhere around $30 million per year in his offer from the Lakers," said Brian Windhorst on Thursday's episode of First Take. "A very good contract. A far cry from what they offered him yesterday. What they offered him yesterday and he agreed to was more than $45 million per year. That's a 50 percent increase in like 24 hours.

"Why? Leverage. Because the Detroit Pistons were lining it up. You saw last night they made to move off Isaiah Stewart. That cleared salary cap space."

Reaves will make $41.3 million in Year 1 of his four-year, $185 million contract.

Wow. $30mil is a low ball offer for Reaves. A 50% increase in money offered within 1-2 days. Wow.

Coby White?  He just resigned there, which I'm guessing isn't a coincidence.

The only options for the MLE that make sense to me in the guard spot are Sexton, Simons and Grimes. It's dwindling.

Grimes is the only one I?d be interested in. He has more size and can play both ends of the court. I?d love to get him.

He?s not a point guard, though. He is a shoot first guard. Basically like Dosunmu who Chicago also traded away.

Yeah I would love him. Hate to say but he was also a pest against us particularly in that Game 5, I think if I'm remembering he had 19 points that night.

Amid a ton of rumors surrounding Jaylen Brown, sources close to the situation confirm to
@ClutchPoints that Jaylen Brown has not once approached the organization or Brad Stevens to ask for a trade.

I feel like there are mountains of misinformation & speculation out there right now.  Extremely tough to sift thru and this organization is pretty tight lipped so who knows what the hell is really going on.
