I think some in here have some medical experience. I'd be interested in hearing what you think about this article?

It essentially argues that the movements off one leg (decel steps, eurosteps, stepbacks, etc.) are contributing to a rapid rise in injuries, especially calf injuries.

A lot of guys shoot layups off one foot and that has never hurt them.  I think Step Backs have been around a long time too.  So I think that should be taken out of commission and Jack Sikma would have never had a career.

Maybe the the decel steps and eurosteps but logic dictates they would have a massive history of these injuries in Europe.  One would think the Eurostep would be harder on the knees.   I think it is decel step could really stress the achilles.  But on the other hand a lot of these are guys lunging and stepping back.   We called that the Jab step when I played.  I think the modern guys over emphasis the jab too much and extend too far.
