Last 5min

* 8 missed threes
* 2 missed midrange Js by Jaylen
* that layup by Pritchard in the final 10secs
* Queta made 2 FTs as well.

They went without a basket for the last 5min outside of that Pritchard layup with 10secs. Queta's 2 FTs the only pts in the last 5min.

This series was a stain on the organization. No excuses. This was pathetic and heads need to roll.

Joe getting behind 0-3 to an awful Heat team

Joe blowing a 3-1 lead to this Sixers team

Fantastic.

Don't forget the Knicks series last year, too.

I have to give them credit for fighting till the end, but they really made things a lot harder for themselves than they had to. Getting blown out in game two after we blew them out game one.. then getting blown out game five after we blew them out game four and we?re leading by 13 points in the third quarter. Those are things that they will look back on and say I?m sure we could?ve done better. They put themselves in a position where they allowed the Sixers to rounded to form.

The complexion of the series changed after Embiid came back. Even after we won game four on his return because we shot 50% from three, we really didn?t have anybody who could defend him. And his presence opened up the perimeter for everyone else. Vuc was useless. I think a priority for Brad for next season is going to be identifying a big that can be a solid defender and rim roller., even if they can?t shoot the three, because we have Garza to do that.

Big credit to Philly too they came back after getting pumped by 30 points twice, if they had this team all season I?m sure they would?ve finished a lot higher than seventh.

Actually kinda proud of the way they competed in the second half?Sixers are just straight up the better team.

Celtics missing threes meanwhile Maxey with two layups to basically seal it SMH

Maxey did a great job taking over on those plays after Embiid aggravated his leg (knee?). Embiid was struggling physically. Maxey took over instead.

This series and last years Knicks series are two of the worst coached series Ive seen in my life. A great regular season doesnt make up for that, especially in this city.

Hey guys - it was only 49 threes this time, not 60. A bright side to reflect on.  ::)

Gotta give Philly credit.  Their starting lineup played really well together in games 5-7.  They deserved it more than we did.

I don't give them any credit at all, they had nothing to do with this.

Multiple times in this game I saw the Celtics fumble mulitple consecutive possessions, only to see them bailed out because Philly bricked open shots on the other end.  Philly played nothing even remotely close to their best game - they were basically giving this game to the Celtiics, and the Celtics said "nah its ok, you keep it, we don't really want it anyway".

I give Philly credit, they could have easily folded after Game 4 and didn't.

Celtics choked hard. It's on them. ZERO excuses. This philosophy isn't working and the roster needs upgrades. Doesn't matter Tatum didn't play tonight, they still lost Games 5 + 6 with him too

Reminded me of Game 4 of the 2022 Finals. Blew that half and the rest of the series went downhill. Except we were only up 2-1 and not 3-1.

Now the Celtics will be the butt of 3-1 jokes

We ended up winning the round, but it also reminded me of 2022 ECF Game 6 vs. Miami at home. The Celtics literally went ahead 97-94 with 5 minutes left in the game after trailing for most of it, then gave up a 17-6 run to end it where the offense was choking badly too.

This is a frontrunnery team, but not capable of being clutch in the 4th in most playoff games. Some of the 2024 games may have been outliers with Jrue's defense, Jaylen's 3, etc. but that's about it.
