Simons for Vuc trade was an utter failure. Rather of had Simons

Vuc should not be back along with Sam, Walsh. I would try to move JB also.

White 5-16 from 3. Just why??

Joe and his insane philosophy - that is why. There is absolutely zero accountability on this team, because there's no such thing as a "bad three" in Joe's sophomoric offensive philosophy.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Sixers fans chanting "we want Boston" as they leave the Garden.  Home court has been useless in the J's era.

Well deserved. They were able to put up and shut the C's up.

That idiotic starting lineup. Mazzula took out R Harper Jr quickly but left Garza in. Put the team in a -11 deficit halfway through Q1.

For the rest of the game, BOS was +2.

How different this game might have been if not for that stupid starting lineup.

If you could win $100 by running a mile on a treadmill in 6 minutes, you'd choose to do the challenge when the treadmill is completely flat with no incline.

Having Joe as your head coach is doing the same challenge but putting the treadmill at a very steep incline, if not the steepest.  You're not going to win anymore money even if you still complete the mile in 6 minutes.  You just make it harder for yourself.

The C's and Bruins went a combined 0-6 in the past week at TD Garden

That's actually embarassing to a historic level I feel lol...

Appreciate JT coming back this season but for him to miss the most important game of the season with "knee stiffness" does not sit well.

This guy has played with a bad wrist, bad ankles, etc. Think him sitting tonight was odd.

My gut feeling? I think deep down they knew Tatum was gonna also miss most of next round, if not the entire postseason. Because I agree, I don't see why JT would just sit out a Game 7 but then be available next round early on. I think he got hurt and was gonna miss time.

Kind of reminds me of the 2023 ECF Game 7. Even if they won that night, Tatum's ankle sprain may have kept him out the first 2-3 games of the Finals.

Joe's stupid philosophy of keep chucking threes even after a big lead cost us the Knick series last season.

The same philosophy of keep chucking threes even when the shots won't fall cost us the Sixers series this season.

Do we want to do it again?

After the recent collapses, Joe should be telling guys on the team that anyone who takes more two or more questionable threes in a game will be getting benched immediately.

This is not an issue of guys taking threes, it's an issue or guys PRIORITISING threes.  If the three is the best shot you have avaialble then you should take it, but you should always be trying first and foremost to find a lower risk shot.

This reliance on analytics has destroyed the NBA.  The whole idea of "a three is more efficient then a middy" only holds true if you can rely on that three point shooting consistently in 80%+ of games, like the Warriors could when they had 2-3 all-time great shooters (Steph, Klay, Durant) out there on the court.

Only elite shooters should be given a green from three.  Pritchard is really the only guy on this team who might be able to make a case for that.  Anyone else on this roster should only be taking threes when it's wide open.

Vucevic has never won a playoff series in his career. He sucks and has always sucked. Can't switch. But he's completely unplayable now.

He was a salary dump to get under the cap.

Joe's offense works in the regular season because no one cares about the regular season.

It is an absolute failure in the playoffs 3 out of the 4 runs under him.

Joe said his odd starting lineup was because he had a few things tactically he wanted to test out.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Philly's defense was really good. Nobody had open shots. They pinked us. Now we have to evaluate why we traded for Vooch. He is passive and slow and is afraid. Time to get rid of him. Baylor was awful tonight, Hugo gets time finally in game 7. He didn't do much but at least he gives effort. JB forced a little too much in the 4th. You have to trust your teammates. Sad ending. Cmon JT you couldn't play tonight. Is that so we couldn't blame it on you? Do you think Larry Bird would have sat out? Bad look.

Yeah...something just seems off about that whole thing. JT plays through injury and does not miss games let alone one of this level.
