Just missing wide open 3's.

Perhaps our entire offensive philosophy shouldn't require us to take and make inordinate amounts of threes? Just a thought.

Oh you don't have to tell me.  I've been against Mazzula ball forever now.

If Brad runs this roster back he needs to be fired also.

Healthy Sixers team can finally make finals. This will be there best chance ever. Towns will get owned by Embiid if he is healthy

Celtics a one trick pony. When that doesn?t work it?s over.

One of the worst meltdowns in Celtics history. In fact 3 of worst meltdowns in team history in the last 4 years. Makes me think?

I think Joe quits after this series. It?s just unacceptable.

Can't say this surprises anyone. Celtics lost their game mid 3rd quarter of game 5 and never got it back.

Yeah there's no excuses to be made. They choked a 3-1 lead and choked it largely due to their philosophy and roster-construction particularly for the frontcourt. It'll be in history that they blew a 3-1 lead. I don't care if Tatum missed Game 7, they choked Games 5 and 6 as is.

Guys, I get being frustrated with the shooting. But what is it you expect them to do?

They apparently have no center who can stay on the floor, so they aren't going to be lobbing or posting up. They have three guys with any ball handling ability at all and two of those guys are White/Pritchard who get a substantial majority of their value from shooting threes on volume.

I just don't know what they are supposed to do.

What are you talking about? This has been their entire philosophy since Joe has been coach. Mazzulla ball is all about the math game of taking and making an inordinate amount of threes to "out-math" their opponent. It's a bunk philosophy that was present with or without the roster problems and has led to a 75% failure rate relative to expectations in the playoffs.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Down 11pts when Embiid went out.

Philly have since pushed the lead to 16pts.

Gotta win the non-Embiid minutes.
