Bulls waived him, I know he is out for the season, but, can the Celtics pick him up? I actually really like his game even though he seems to be a bit of a knucklehead, just wondering.

I think something is wrong with him mentally tbh, it's not just about the comments he made today, he's been making IG lives and streams online saying a lot of random stuff and at times looking troubled. He's also made a lot of religious comments about stuff in recent days that are out of nowhere and even Bulls/Pistons fans are confused (he used to play for DET). Some were even worried he might do something very extreme (a bad thing). I hope he gets the support he needs.

His injury may have taken its toll on him mentally. Hopefully he gets some help. He?s too young to retire. And to answer the question, he?d be a nice reclamation project specially with our financial situation. He could possibly be a lottery talent for cheap. It will all depend on how he is mentally fit though.

Locker room cancer.  There were some rumors in Detroit before this that he had some issues, and was why they traded him.  To be clear, this is not about his beliefs, which I do not at all agree with, but about his inability to know the proper times and ways of expressing them.  They called him ?The Preacher?, and not in a complimentary way.

Also, that he has no understanding of when it is socially appropriate to express his beliefs, and that they are, according to him, part of a recent conversion, indicates to me someone with an untreated, or at least unsuccessfully treated, mental health condition.

I generally agree with the first paragraph, I'm less sure of the second.  Jaylen Brown converted to Islam and has kept a post up on instagram supporting Kyrie Irving that celebrates anti-Semites.  Is he mentally ill?

Look, I am not trained to diagnose such things and I have never met him.  Switching religious beliefs, fine.  I tried out a new religion every six months from about 18 to 24.  The search for meaning in life and finding where we all fit is important and eternal to humanity.  All that said, the fervency of his new belief, and his inability to understand how his expression of it may be alienating others, definitely seems like an addiction or mania.  Such actions are absolutely a potential sign of a few different conditions, and as someone with a parent who manifested their mental health issues in this manner, I can assure you there is a difference in Jaylen Brown and Jaden Ivey.

Idk but sounds like TreVeyon Henderson of the New England Patriots is backing Jaden Ivey following his controversial remarks with a religious quote posted on X.

Hopefully no locker room issues with the Pats regarding TVH
