I look at it that the expectation was hitting/run scoring would be below league average but the starting pitching would contend for best in the league and that the bullpen would be above average.

So far, the hitting/run scoring is below average (OPS 11th of 15 in AL) but the starting pitching has been horrible and the bullpen has been mostly good, but lost couple of games. 

The hitting will get a little better, I believe, but the starting pitching needs to get a lot better or this team is going nowhere.  Maybe a nice home stand will help the team snap out of this funk.

There is a 3 way tie for second place in the least amount of runs scored category: SD, Cincy, and Boston.

There is a 3 way tie for second place in the least amount of runs scored category: SD, Cincy, and Boston.

Don't worry, the Padres offense will break out of their funk against the Red Sox  :P
