JB got a pretty good whistle last night and is still grousing.  I know, squeaky wheel gets greased and all that, but I wonder if there comes a point where it goes the other direction and refs put a target on his back instead.

I love the guy but I wouldn't mind if JB just let his play talk for him for a while.  Seems like he has a new sound bite after every game lately, most of it complaining about one thing or another.  At the very least, I can do without any more meltdowns that get him thrown out of games, whether they're technically "justified" or not.

My takeaway from the last two games? Despite some BS from the refs and frustrating moments on the court, this team hung in there with the two best teams in the West on the road, without Jaylen for the 2nd half in SA and 3 main players in the OKC game including Tatum. Also with Vucevic out.

The depth on this team is a lot better than recent years and we got guys who can come off the bench and actually make plays or impact games.

I was still very encouraged by the team despite losing the two, and I guess 1-2 on the road against CLE-SAS-OKC is acceptable.

And we don't have to worry about OKC/SAS until a potential Finals. But this team with Tatum back and Vucevic in April are definitely up there as the favorites to come out of the East, even over NY/DET. Meanwhile the West will be a bloodbath and will take care of itself.

Yup.  Just stay healthy.

I just want to say to everyone who participates in game threads that I really appreciate the general acceptance of dissenting opinions. I sometime comment on CelticsBlog, and they really hammer me any time I say anything critical. Perhaps sometimes I vent a bit too much, but you all are generally fine with it, unlike the sunshine-and-lollipops crowd over at CB.
