Just finished - taped 2nd half. JB was terrific in the third and Pritchard did his thing.  Hauser and Scheierman with nice games.  This team has a really solid group of good to very god players after the Jays.

I was sure the Cavs were going to make it a game. They came back enough to make me nervous but Cs kept making shots when they needed to. Nice win against very good team.

Knicks lose and Detroit down big vs Miami with 3 minutes to play. That #1 seed in the East just might be reachable.

Another impressive win !!!  And only 38 3-point attempts.
Would love to have Vuce for the upcoming OKC game, but maybe he will just be an added weapon for us if we were to play them in the finals. If .......
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett - Tatum

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

I was able to watch about half the game. Everything looks good to me. Cleveland was missing some key bench players. Allen and Strus for example. This allowed BOS to win the bench competition.

Scheierman has been playing surprisingly well. He was a key contributor today. I did not see that coming.

In any case, a great win. Play off atmosphere.

I loved this game being a Celtic Fan in Ohio.  I do think our ball movement is still adjusting to adding Tatum.  There were a ton of isolation basketball.

I would counter this with the fact, that Dean Wade and Sam Merrill are not NBA caliber starters for a good playoff tea.  They are bench level players.  The refs in the second half were helping CLE  all they could.  Harden is nota player that contributes a ton to winning but can fill up a stat sheet.  Mitchell may be one of the best clutch scorers in the East.

He has been playing really well lately.

Could it be? Our playoff path might be similar to 2024's run? Miami in round 1, Cleveland in round 2? And then whatever is left between Detroit and New York in the ECF?

That is, if Boston overtakes Detroit for the 1-seed  ;D

Same...my Cav folk here in Central Ohio keep making excuses. They say once playoffs start, the Celtics won't be able to handle the Harden/Mobley action. I just smile and tell them we hear the same things every season from them.

Miami once again will play for the 7 seed. I would prefer to play Miami. They have so little talent on that team it would be done in 5.

I am not sure the Cs can catch the Pistons. This week is a killer with the Spurs and Thunder.

Yeah, we can check in on Thursday about catching Detroit.  We are at Spurs and Thunder next while they have Nets and Sixers.  Granted they just lost to Brooklyn, but we could easily go 0-2 while they go 2-0.  If we get through the next two games with the same record, then it is game on for the Race to the 1 seed, but I am not looking at that seeding for another couple of days.  I do think the Pistons are starting to play their worst basketball of the season at the time of year when teams are generally trying to be at their best, so that is a concerning sign for them in general for the playoffs, but they definitely have a schedule advantage when it comes to holding onto the 1-seed.
