This team can absolutely make a deep run in the East. They have good, young hustle depth too across the roster which is something they lacked last year (to go along with Porzingis having POTS and Jrue + Horford honestly just losing a step due to age)

Great win.  This team is clicking.

Question now might be can they catch Detroit?

To their credit the Cavs pushed us in that 4th quarter, they're a good team, but we showed enough composure to win. Some big plays from PP, JT and Baylor in the 4th to keep them at bay. JT had an awesome first quarter, dropped off a bit after that, but overall another successful game in his return. 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, looks like he's about 80% of the way there already. JB with a classy 23 pts 9 reb 8 assists.

Our bench was outstanding. 39 points to 13. What a weapon we have with PP and Baylor coming off the bench (and Vuc when he returns).

TPs for all!

Huge minutes from Baylor.  The Cavs bench was not good.  PP and Baylor were outstanding.

In the process of tweaking some chemistry since JT return but I like Coach Joe's approach.

How nice was it to see Tatum again making big shots down the stretch? Scheierman's ascent to key rotaton member wasn't on my bingo card for this season, but he was tremendous.  And PP was probably player of the game with some huge shots to interrupt Cavs runs.

JB almost had a triple double. Very nice

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Kind of felt like a big win also considering the next two are SAS + OKC on the road. Wouldn't surprise me if they lost both, but at least coming out of this 3-game stretch with 1 guaranteed win is still acceptable as opposed to going 0-3. And of course, staying healthy. Schedule eases up again after Thursday

Game ball to Baylor!

Awesome win.  They answered every run.  Lots of guys stepping up at different times.

Baylor becoming a very solid starting guard for this team, which has White-Tatum-Brown on it is insane. Good for him.

And I think it also allows Hauser to become more comfortable again coming off the bench as a 3-point specialist, sort of like how PP is just in his groove being a 6th man instead of a starter

7 guys with 25 or more minutes.  I have no numbers to prove this, but that seems pretty rare for an NBA game that ends in regulation.

I sort of theorize Mazzulla was experimenting as if this were a playoff game in a way, which is also why someone like Queta went 36 minutes today. JT is still working on conditioning so even 27 minutes is impressive from him, but normally he'd go 35+ too in the playoffs. We could very well play the Cavaliers in Round 2 (them or NY, coz even if we hold 2, NY/CLE could battle for 3)
