Maybe there are stats or numbers to back it up, but Ayton seems like the prime guy to get picked on in the playoffs and underwhelm. And Lakers don't really have much in the frontcourt behind him unless they want to rely on 41 year old Lebron and Hayes playing significant minutes at center.

I feel like the Lakers should be a better team. I wonder if the coach is the problem.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Please explain to me why Walsh isn't getting more minutes. I haven't watched every game this season, so there may be good reason. However, he was playing well earlier in the season and he has to be better than Scheierman or this Tonje guy.

Scheierman has improved his defense and offensive rebounding as the year has gone on. And he is much better offensively compared to Walsh.

Scheierman seems just a little better "all around" at this point.

He's part of it. I also think there's way too many guys on that team who can't play defense either. Including Luka. It'll get exposed big time in the playoffs. And if Ayton can't deliver either, then a center like Gobert last year will dominate them on the boards too

Disagree, I think Baylor is a much better all around player and much better on offense.

OK, fair enough and maybe you have seen more games that I have.
Still, Walsh has improved to the point of being a solid contributor and his defense is always consistent.
Seems he would be a plus to the rotation at 10-15 minutes per game. We have seen over and over that when Joe finally gives a player consistent minutes, they often improve.
