Lol should the Pats take a gamble on Crosby now that his trade value has dropped significantly?

Kraft isn?t paying Crosby $35M/year. He didn?t even want to pay Brady.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Maybe not, but note that the Ravens trade was pretty universally liked from the Ravens perspective. I don?t think I heard anything other than excitement from Ravens fans. He failed the physical due to the condition of his surgically repaired knee. Given the info the Ravens didn?t like the risk.  I think it?s probably wise to think they knew what they were doing when they negated the trade. So - no I don?t think the pats trade for him, not because Kraft is cheap but because it?s unwise.

There's a theory out there that the Ravens got cold feet and used the physical as an excuse.  There's no proof of that, but it will be interesting to see if any other teams come to a different conclusion.

I do think the Ravens would be better off signing Hendrickson (also an injury risk) and keeping the two #1s.  They have some holes to fill.

Cardinals just released Kyler Murray.

With the release of Kyler Murray, just three of the 29 first-round quarterbacks drafted in the second decade of this millennium (2010-19) remain with the teams that took them.

Those three: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

For what it is worth, Decosta said that after Linderbaugh left the Ravens were trying to sign Hendrickson to pair with Crosby.

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source.

Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins? 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year?s draft.

Miami receives: Broncos? 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year?s draft.

Does this help the Patriots in a potential AJ Brown trade? I would think so.

Idk but it doesn?t help the Pats in the AFC.

Hard to say.  It eliminates a potential competitor for Brown, but also sets the compensation market.   The Eagles are going to want a 1st and a 3rd, at least.
