Kraft isn?t paying Crosby $35M/year. He didn?t even want to pay Brady.

Maybe not, but note that the Ravens trade was pretty universally liked from the Ravens perspective. I don?t think I heard anything other than excitement from Ravens fans. He failed the physical due to the condition of his surgically repaired knee. Given the info the Ravens didn?t like the risk.  I think it?s probably wise to think they knew what they were doing when they negated the trade. So - no I don?t think the pats trade for him, not because Kraft is cheap but because it?s unwise.
