When do you think Tatum makes his season debut? (Friday 3/6?)

Surprised he?s actually coming back now. After not playing last night, I figured he?d wait until after this difficult road trip before coming back.

But I?ll take it nonetheless!

He'll be limited to start obviously, but I wonder how much he'll play in the 3-game road trip. He probably won't play Sunday but then how do they balance SAS/OKC?

I'd be tempted to play him against SAS and not OKC, only because I don't trust Dort's ass not to do something dirty.  But in terms of health, I'd expect that he's 100% ready to go and it's just a matter of gaining reps and confidence now.  From that perspective, it might be better to just throw him in the water and see if he floats.  No better test than the NBA's best.

I didn't make the original comment, but I imagine it's because there is a limited window of time for him to come back and realistically "ramp up" before the playoffs.

Exactly. We are running out of time for him to get ready for the playoffs, which is a different animal.

Playoffs don't start for another 6 weeks.  How much time do people really think Tatum needs to get ready for them?
