Going to waste the open roster spots on Harper and Shugla and those 2 guys will never do anything to win playoff games. Bench is a real mess right now.Playoffs are usually a 8-9 man rotation.Starters 1 White2 JB3 Hauser4 JT5 Queta6 PP7 Vooch8 Baylor9 Hugo/WalshHow many teams are bringing players better than PP and Vooch off the bench?Queta starting over Vuc? I understand the concept but I am not sure they do that.

So we have 2 roster spots open after Amari was converted into a regular contract. We can sign 2 vets or maybe convert Harper to a regular contract and sign a vet minimum guy from the buyout market? Possibilities include Conley, Ball, Cam Thomas?maybe Middleton? This is something to watch out for in the coming days. Who knows what Brad has in mind, maybe sign IT to a 10 day and see what he has left?

Yeah this feels like a great job by Brad as well as Joe for the over performance of the team this year and players too of course. I do wonder if the way they handled this deadline makes it less likely Tatum comes back. The Simons move made me lean towards Tatum coming back however the getting rid of Minott and Tillman makes me a bit more hesitant now. It seems unlikely they will be in the buy out market which makes me feel they do not see this year as a true contender. In the end it likely means nothing and that is just me hedging my emotions to avoid disappointment.

Amari is an upgrade over Tillman, I suspect Harper will be signed to a full contract and may prove to be an upgrade over Minott, Boucher was not in the rotation all season and if Tonje replaces his roster spot it will be to no +/- effect.
I saw something online that said we could offer $ 4million to a buy out and still be ok. Not sure if this is true but the vet minimum for a 10 year player is $3.6 million. So in theory, we could out bid team and still stay under the limit for the luxury tax/repeater tax. I am not sure if this is true but this is what the person was saying. I think it might have been Forsberg. They may just promote Harper, too. I would prefer him over Shulga. I think his Maine stats reinforce this as well.https://stats.gleague.nba.com/team/1612709915/players-traditional/?sort=PTS&dir=1
