The Thunder have multiple guards already, including a really good shooter?

ON the other side, is this Morey pulling together all his draft capital for Giannis?

Strange deal for both sides imho.

I thought Philly liked McCain.  Guess not?

OKC already has a bit of a logjam at guard.  Some of their guys are worthy of more minutes than they get, and now they added another one.  Just odd, unless they have another trade holstered that is going to clear out that jam somehow.

Philly has to be wondering if the 2026 version of McCain (I.e., lousy) is who he is going to be moving forward.  If so, they sold high.  And, OKC sees it as buying low on a guy who was much more impressive last year.

Can everyone share their favorite Conley on the Bulls story?

Just in: The Chicago Bulls are trading Coby White and Mike Conley Jr. to the Charlotte Hornets for Collin Sexton, Ousmane Dieng and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Looks like Conley won't be on the buy-out market?

I would guess that Charlotte was primarily after Coby White in that deal.

So you're telling me there's a chance!

So Conley can technically go back to MIN now if he's bought out, right?

It depends if this trade is processed after the MIN-DET-CHI trade from yesterday, or is rolled into it.  That trade has not yet been finalized, or at least wasn?t a couple of hours ago when I last looked.

What a strange trade.

Trade Coby White because you don't want to him a contract extension. Okay, that is fine ... but why trade him for a similar style player who is also an expiring contract who will also need to be paid in the summer. What is the point in that?

Collin Sexton and Anfernee Simons on the same team.

And Jaden Ivey. A 3rd gunner at guard.

Looks like they are trying to surround Josh Giddey with score-first guards. Let Giddey be the main ball-handler & playmaker.
