Boston is now 4-1 without Brown. I did not expect that at all this year. Figured there was no way that trend would continue without Tatum to pick up the slack, but here we are with Boston somehow still being better when Brown is on the bench. White and Queta seem to be driving the wins the most from the starting unit. Hugo highly effective as well from the bench.
you must be tingly all over in glee being able to trot out your usual knocks on JB. The fact he won player of the month in the Eastern conference must have been grating.
I'm legitimately surprised. One of the reasons I didn't think Boston would be this good this year is I expected Brown to miss his usual 15 or so games and the team to be downright awful without him and that just hasn't been the case. It is unexpected and weird. No idea why that is either. Totally goes against what you-d expect. At least when Tatum was around, you could count on him to elevate his game without Brown, now I guess it is White elevating his game, but White is a worse player so it is just weird.
