Is anyone else super fired up for Kornet?s return?  I can?t wait to hear the ovation he gets and the tribute video etc?

I really wish we could have kept him.  He?d still fit in perfectly with what the Celts are doing this year and I just miss his personality.
Yup

I am.  The last couple of seasons he was my favorite role player.  He was great at his job and got the crowd fired up.

Loved Luke and as long as he doesn?t play for LAL, I still love him. What an experience it must be for him to practice with Wemby (idk if they?re ever on the court together). Playing with a guy 5 inches taller than him must be strange.

I wouldn't say fired up for his return, but I am very appreciative of his contributions to our team.  He was a great find by Brad.  I recall him struggling significantly early in his career to the point where it looked like he didn't belong on an NBA roster.  He developed into a reliable contributor game to game and eventually played his role perfectly.  If I recall correctly, he was the best offensive rebounder in the NBA (by certain metrics) during our title year.  He was well loved by his teammates.  A great asset to have and I wished we could have kept him, but I'm glad he got a well deserved contract from a well run organization in the Spurs.

Should be fun to watch Kornet and Garza battle for offensive rebounds.

Couldn?t agree more. It?s crazy how much he improved since originally joining the Cs back in 20/21.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Kornet went to the Celtics/Raptors game last night. Really sucks that he?s not on the team anymore.
