Jaylen "MVP" Brown, dribbling the game away yet again.

Probably a 2 win team without him this year btw, and likely lose this game by 30. Carry on though
got to be the worst take on this game.

JB needs his teammates to show up if they're going to beat other top teams.  White had over 20 points but didn't play great.  PP and Simons offered no offensive support.

didn't help that JB got no calls despite constantly driving to the hoop and getting hit repeatedly

Maybe he wouldn't have so many turnovers and also the other players would play better if JB would stop doing this and actually PASS the ball....He's in his own head right now trying to convince everyone he's the MVP....share the ball man.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Reality setting in to some degree, especially for Garza and Walsh.  SAS is a good team.  This BOS team is going to lose to good teams sometimes.  BOS had a really good stretch, now they are probably going to come back down to earth some.

As to the game, Garza was -14 and Walsh -12.  Ouch.  These guys had been +/- darlings during the good stretch.  Walsh was shooting out of his mind.  I am still waiting to see what is steady state for these guys.  Somewhere in the middle I expect/hope.  And Scheierman had a great game.  10 points and +4 in 26 minutes.  Very efficient shooting.  Didn't see that coming.

It should not be a surprise that this team has ups and downs.  It is a flawed roster with a lot of players being asked to do things they have never done before.  But this team is better than I thought.

I do think part of the reason for the +/- being the way it was in this game was Wemby coming off the bench. And specifically with Garza basically matching Wembys minutes that is going to have a very negative impact on him.

With that being said I do think Walsh has sadly come back to earth. Similar to Minott in a way. Joe has Hugo Walsh Minott and Baylor all playing sporadically so we will likely see more of that although will be interesting to see how that all shakes out when Tatum comes back.

If nothing else I think each of those 4 and Garza have raised their value at least somewhat.

Great effort .

Just Tatum height and presence would have made the difference.

Another Joe note.

Please quit playing Brown and White into the ground ? Too many minutes, just like he was doing with Tatum.
A playoff game is one thing, a regular season game another and regular season game during a non-title year is pure stupidity.

Jaylen is averaging 34.3 minutes per game this season.  Since the start 2019-2020 season, so 6.5 seasons across 3 head coaches, Jaylen has averaged 34.3 minutes per game.  I do not get your complaints sometimes.
