Since the start of the season, my feeling was that he'd eventually be traded so they could get bigger defensively with their guards, but given the importance of the 3 and his ability to take over games as he did tonight in the 2nd half, I'm thinking it might be better to keep him. When Tatum returns, this team will have 5 guys who can create their own shot. That's a nice luxury. Plus the emergence of Hugo and Walsh makes it easier to have someone who's probabably a below average defender play lots of minutes.
When Simons gets it going, he's a fun guy to watch.
That all said, I don't see how Brad can pay him his market value - or why he'd want to stay vs getting paid.
