I think it's a bit of an over-correction in this case tbh. A healthy Trae Young is a #1 option, proven capable of spearheading a top 5 offense in the NBA. He's less useful when he can't dominate the ball, and with the ascension of Jalen Johnson I do understand why Atlanta felt like they could trade him, but as a salary dump? I thought he'd have SOME positive value.
