Scheierman can't handle Cade.  Either take him off of that assignment or (preferably) sit him.

Feels like going small isn't working for us today.  The Pistons are just driving and jumping over our small-ball interior guys at the rim, and we aren't getting the offensive surge that going small typically implies.  It's mostly just JB having to do it himself.  Nobody else seems to have the confidence to handle against the perimeter pressure, and we're ice cold from the perimeter to boot.

So 1-18 shooting threes the last 2 quarters.  Is it time to shift gears?  Drove more at the end - but Detroit closing fast on JB.  Need to get as much Queta in the 4th with JB as possible. And Jordan.

I know those were long rebounds but that was just pathetic effort ending up in Detroit finally getting a bucket

The answer to missing threes is NEVER to stop taking threes. That just doesn't work with the Celtics as currently constructed. They need to take them.

This is the #1 team in the East by a decent margin too over NY, and we've played them competitive even without Tatum so far this season. Encouraging

I don't understand why we get a guy to 5 fouls... and then just don't even try to have him pick up his 6th and foul out. Cade today. Numerous other stars in previous games too

have to admit, no one in the East is particularly scary.  If Brad can get another decent big by the deadline and if Tatum comes back and is close to his old self by playoff time, I would not be surprised if this team got to the finals.

amazing how JB can hit all kinds of acrobatic and fallaway shots but is a crappy FT shooter

We need contributions from JWalsh and Minott to really compete. It?s what?s been missing this game.

I'm looking very ahead, but a DET-BOS playoff series potentially in the ECF would be fun (with Tatum back and hopefully another big man on the team)

That would be something!
