Quotesource: Boston gets RHP Johan Oviedo, LHP Tyler Samaniego and C Adonys Guzman Pittsburgh gets OF Jhostynxon Garcia (BOS No. 3 prospect per @MLBPipeline and RHP Jesus TraviesoOviedo has a lot of ability, but he also seems to be injury prone. I was hoping that we'd get more of a proven commodity in trading The Password.

Extra pitching depth but they need more. Someone like a Freddy Peralta or Joe Ryan.

I don?t think Henry will allow them to make a big splash with the lockout looming. This is probably it for the rotation: Crochet, Bello, Gray, Oviedo, and Crawford/Whitlock.

Slugger Kyle Schwarber and the Philadelphia Phillies are finalizing a five-year, $150 million contract, sources told ESPN on Tuesday, reuniting the National League home run leader and the franchise with whom he blossomed into a perennial MVP candidate.

Alonso is only a year younger. I am not sure the Sox will want to pay big money for aging, no-defense, sluggers, much to many fans' chagrin.
