It almost feels like Joe has punished him for his 25 point half last week.
or more likely Joe doesn't know what to do with him. 

I suspect his best utilization would be in the starting line-up in place of PP.  takes the offensive pressure of White and Brown and having PP off the bench would put more punch with the reserves.  having PP back with Hauser might also help Hauser get his shot back on track

One question on the last play. Why were White and Hauser defending Zubac at the free throw line, when they were up 3 with less than a second on the clock? In that situation, he is the only guy that you don't need to defend.

They were trying to tip the pass, because touching it would have started the clock and effectively ended the game.  Zubac boxed them out and tipped it himself, but right to Harden as they planned.

It was a really good play design.
