What is the cheapest Simons would sign for? $18 million??
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Interesting mix on the floor with Minott playing center.
he has passed his career high of 15 points. he keeps getting better. i hope they run plays for him soon.

They really don't need to tbh.  He's a good opportunist on offense.  There's a lot of value in that next to guys like JB, PP, etc who take up a lot of possessions.  I don't think the shot is good enough to run offense looking for it, and I don't think the handle is good enough to break down a set defense.  More of a straight line guy attacking closeouts at this point in his career.

Good athlete though.  He's gonna get one of those big posters by the end of the year I bet.

I think if Minott can lock in more defensively he can become a Shawn Marion type player. He has nowhere near the feel for the game that Marion had, but the energy and athleticism are there.

Why did Minnesota let him go?  Minott is everything you want in a young player trying to earn minutes. He?s in control, he never gives up on a play, good hands, gets back on D following misses. Rebounds well. He could add some bulk (only 22).  Absolutely seems like at least a rotation player if not starter. As Brad looks to build next years roster he?s getting some pleasant surprises from Minott, Hugo, and Q.

And Jaylen Brown playing like a top ten player right now.

Was thinking the same thing tonight in the first quarter. Probably somewhere around $20 million.

They just had no minutes for him.  Edwards, McDaniels, NAW, DiVincenzo was a rock solid wing rotation for them last season.  Randle Reid Gobert in the front court, no room for him there either.

It happens.  Nearly lost us Pritchard at one point.

Great win.  I'm not on the tankbus yet, so I'm still hoping this was a 'get right game' for the guys instead of a lolwizards game.

JB continues to deserve more respect than he gets.

JB's efficient scoring continues.  Impressive statline for just 26 mins of play.

4th straight blowout loss for WAS since Bilal Coulibaly came back and was re-inserted into the starting lineup.

They were better with a backcourt of Bub Carrington & CJ McCollum. Not enough ball-handling, passing, shooting off the dribble with Coulibaly in the starting lineup.

Bad balance.

just not seeing a cohesive plan for that franchise.  some young players that could be good but they don't look close to being really good players.  team really needs to cut bait on their vets to get whatever assets they can (prospects and/or picks) to get some more/better swings at the draft pinata with a bad record and more picks.
