I am an optimist, but if we can't address our rebounding problem we'll be heading to lottery.
yeah, giving up 21 offensive rebounds is not a good sign.  :(

Shooting start for the season by PP and DW is really surprising.
you misspelled depressing.
I was thinking of a number of different adjectives and landed on a rather benign one.

JB has 7 TOs. Just ridiculous.  :blank:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Well if you're an optimist they maybe found some of their identity once Hugo got involved in the 2nd half. A team like this has to defend aggressively all over the court because they're so small.

in the thread with preseason predictions, I predicted they'd set the record for most offensive rebounds given up, worst defensive rebounding percentage and most second chance points surrendered.  I haven't seen anything in these 2 games to make me think I'll be wrong unfortunately

The Knicks shot the ball poorly overall, 38%.  Just can't rebound.

Brad knows better, he knows the holes in the roster before the season started.

Celtics got it to 12. Knicks hit a three to go up 15. Celtics get it to 12 again. Knicks hit a three to go up 14. Celtics get it to 10. Knicks hit a three to go up 13. Celtics get it to 9. Knicks hit a three to go up 12.

Knicks hit a big shot every time the C's made any sort of run.

Three point shooting ended up close, Knicks hit 2 more than the C's. But just obliterated on the boards, giving up 21 offensive rebounds.

For all of the issues with the depth on this team, it was the guys you're sure about who kinda let them down tonight.  Pritchard and White couldn't hit, and Brown needs to value the basketball.  Maybe we steal that one if our best players play better.

well, even if they lose a lot of games this year ("if"?????) it will be entertaining to watch gonzales and minott develop....i hope.

Joe needs to reevaluate the lineups.

line up may need to change to White, Brown, Simons, Boucher, Queta to start with PP, Hugo, Hauser and Tillman off the bench.  hopefully a more balanced offense with probably better rebounding to at least start the game.

both pritchard and white have started abysmally this season. pritchar maybe is too nervous about carrying the team, being a starter. it is affected his shooting i think.

under the category of odd games, the celtics won 3 quarters. but i guess giving up 42 points in a quarter is not a good thing.

I think shooting will improve as i do think we have good shooters, so I'm not really worried. But, big bodies who can (and is willing) to block out and rebound...ouch..

Hugo looked good with a +7 for his 23 minutes.  Expect to see him in the rotation.  Missed the first half ....Cs won the second half.
