Lol, because Trump is attending the game, Knicks fans are being asked to show up 2-3 hours early AND bring NO bags because they will undergo TSA-like screening before the game and the Secret Service will be there too. I'm curious how that'll all go. And it seems they are gonna try to restrict gatherings and such right outside the arena before and after the game (good luck with that).

Ramona Shelbourne pointed this out:

AD gets traded. New Orleans gets #1 pick. Zion.
AD gets traded. Dallas gets #1 pick. Cooper Flagg.
AD gets traded. WAS gets #1 pick. Dybantsa.

I was a little confused by this as it was NOP gets the #1 Pick, Zion (June 20, 2019), then AD gets traded to LAL (July 6, 2019).  Same at DAL (traded to DAL in Feb 2025).  Pick came in June 2025, the trade of AD to WAS came later.  Now AD is on WAS and they get the #1 pick.

So I guess the point is that was on each of these teams when they won the lottery.  He had to suffer through 3 tanking teams, and then get traded (still TBD for WAS but likely).

So the sequence is AD joins team (draft or trade), team tanks, team wins lottery, team  trades AD.  See if WAS keeps up the string.

Stacey King has died. Solid player. Great broadcaster. Funny guy. I enjoyed listening to him. Had a podcast as well (Stacey King: Gimme that Hot Sauce).

A shame. 59 years old.

I'll admit, I was rooting for the Knicks in the first two games for two reasons. One, I'd rather see an Eastern Conference team win, since I'm sick of hearing how much better the West is. Two, I feel like if NY wins, it would definitely motivate the Celtics to improve. However, I may start rooting for the Spurs now, as I would find it highly entertaining if every Knicks fan would blame that scumbag for cursing their team. Btw, it's such a bad PR move by Dolan to give him tickets for being his guest.

Spurs better take this game. Make it interesting at least.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It is weird, but I kind of feel like whoever wins this game will win the series.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

You're right in that no team in NBA history has ever come back from 0-3 and win, if the Knicks win tonight.

But NYK still gets another home game in Game 4 even if this becomes a 2-1 series. Knicks still has all the momentum. They haven't lost a game since the first rounds

That was a dirty foul by Wemby in Q1 pushing Brunson to the floor in the back of his head. Not liking these types of fouls from Wemby. Dirty player.

And all the refs do is protect Wemby. Call it.

For having Wemby on his team, Castle calls his own number a heck of a lot.

Did he get booed? New Yorkers are not shy about expressing themselves (though at 11k a ticket these are some fairly rich New Yorkers).

Don't forget the elbow to Kornet's back. Refs ignoring a lot on both sides. Prolly be a fight in the 2nd half.
