Wemby is the best player in the NBA.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I've soured some on Wemby over the year, but it is fun watching OKC being overmatched. It's clear they struggle matching up with this team.

Think they said Victor is the youngest player since Kareem to get 40pts/20reb in a playoff game.

Crazy thing about the Spurs is they?ll only get better from here.  This is the worst they?ll be for several years unless guys get hurt.  Big ?unless? admittedly but the ceiling on that team is unreal.

Incredible. If Lebron wants to win another title go join the Spurs.

Just watched a few minutes but looked at the play-by-play post-game and had the exact same thought.

The Celtic championship teams up until 2024 always had either the best player in the league or close to it, Russell, Cowens, Bird and Garnett.
We just haven't had that player since Garnett and have had very bad luck in the draft lotteries we were involved in.
Seems only a couple of years ago that we were the young, upcoming dominant team built around two all-star wings with very good veteran teammates, but not an MVP level player.

When do the salary cap nightmares that destroyed our roster start to kick in for OKC and San Antonio ?

The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett - Tatum

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce - Brown

Yeah, it?s kinda sad how Boston?s long-range plan ? which started with Danny?s Nets trade many moons ago ? has been decidedly surpassed by a team that swung an even crazier trade and a team that tanked and got an all-time freak of nature out of it. I realize that things were more complicated than that for the Thunder and Spurs, but it just goes to show that there?s probably as much good fortune involved as there is skill when it comes to winning titles.

Well, I guess we should be thankful the Celtics won that 2024 championship. I dont see how anyone is going to stop Wemby. Already looks to be the best two way player in the NBA and he is 22 years old.
