The Pistons are so reliant on Cade it is hard to get a real read in the turnovers.  He does everything for them. The Pistons have 2 real needs, a competent 2nd scorer and a competent ball handler.  Just someone who can bring the ball up the court thst isnt Cade would do wonders for them.  Cade just has to do too much.  He is a great player so it works a lot, but it does wear him down and he does make some bad turnovers.

Schroder was great for DET in last year's playoffs. He gave them that 2nd ball-handler / creator.

So 3 of the 4 East series are going 7 games
While 0 of the 4 West playoff series went 7.

OKC swept. Spurs in 5. Lakers & Wolves in 6.
Knicks in 6 in the East.

West Semis will go no more than 5 each, either.

I think they will go no more than 4 each. Luka probably ain't coming back until Game 3 probably. They have no answer for the fast pace and depth of OKC.

Wolves are banged up and have no answer for the dynamic Spurs.

It is a shame Minny & Denver were so banged up. That would have been a great WCSF either way. Spurs should finish Minny off easily.

I wonder about OKC because they are missing J-Dub. That may give LAL an opening. Especially if Luka returns. It may be enough to allow LAL to make that series.

Tie game between Detroit and Orlando.

Will the Magic blow a 3-1 series lead and join Boston?

Or will Detroit be the other top seeded team in the East to be ousted? Either way, misery loves company.

Report that Edwards may return mid series.  No idea how true it is or if it is some gamesmanship, but Edwards returning could be a big bump similar to Embiid returning for Philly. Minny just has to stay in it to get him back.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

18-4 run by Detroit. Orlando doesn?t call a timeout. Smh

Could probably be Game 3 when they're in Minnesota. But even then, a hampered Edwards is still isn't enough against Wemby and the Spurs. Minny has to come in and split the road games or it'll be tough for them

Knicks down 2-1, they win 3 in a row

Pistons down 3-1, they are about to come back with 3 in a row to win the series

Cavaliers I'm sure will win too later today at home.

Meanwhile the Celtics...  :-\

Ah nuts. Detroit are winning. Winning big.

I wanted to see them get knocked out. I liked the idea of both the top 2 seeds in the East getting knocked out given we are already out. Take the sting out of it some.

Celtics are no longer the only team to blow a 3-1 series lead this weekend!

Welcome to the misery club, Orlando!

In the regular season, Minny and San An played 3 times. Two were nailbiters that were settled in the final minute. The teams split those two games. The 3rd game was a win for Minnesota.

If Minny were healthy, they would give San An a great series. Same with Denver. If DEN were healthy, that would have been a great series against San Antonio. Shame both teams got injuries in the 1st round. San Antonio with massive luck. That should have been a back-breaking contest in the WCSF for them.

This would be an embarrassing loss for Cleveland.

Toronto has been without B Ingram for the last 2 games of the series and without I Quickley for the entire series. Down 1 star and 1 starter. Still pushed CLE to 7.

Jamal Shead and Ja'Kobe Walter are 3rd and 4th in minutes for the Raptors in this series. That is who is beating the Cavs. The rookie Colin Murray Boyles is 5th in minutes. Those are 3 of their top 5 minutes getters in this series. Cavs are full strength. Harden, D Mitchell, E Mobley, J Allen. Even Strus is back for them.

I agree with Reggie Miller. Scottie Barnes has been the best player in this series. Not Donovan Mitchell. Not James Harden. Not Evan Mobley.

Donovan Mitchell has gotta be looking at himself in the mirror. Another dodgy game from him today. He has been mostly underpar since the opening 2 games. In the last 4 games, he has been at 19.5ppg 2.8apg on 37% FG 29% 3PT. His bad play is one of the main reasons why Toronto has won 3 of those 4 games. Getting abused on defense whenever RJ Barrett isolates on him as well.

Guess this might be the series where the home team won every game at home, defending home-court?

Sam Merrill has given CLE a lift.

I don't understand why James Harden doesn't play SF defensively for them to get another shooter on floor instead of playing Dean Wade at SF. Wade is killing them offensively. He is a below average offensive big man nevermind wing player. They already have some spacing issues with Mobley / J Allen. They are just compounding that further with Dean Wade at SF.
